Some Exhibitions Are Very Far Away

There’s a fascinating article in Hyperallergic about an exhibition at Lima’s Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (MAC), focusing on the work of three artists (Héctor Chiang, Ana Chung, and Christi Zorrilla) who are Peruvian of Chinese descent. There’s little text in the exhibit, at least not at first view, a direct connection to the difficulty Chinese immigrants ha, coming into a land of an entirely different language. I’m too far away to go see it. Darn it.
